We had the pleasure of meeting Aunt Nicola and Uncle Friend in London for a weekend. Jonathan took off the day on Friday so we had most of Friday, Saturday and Sunday to visit with them in the city.
The day we arrived, we found a pub and ate fish and chips and then wandered through the city seeing big sights like Big Ben and the Parliament building.
We took a ride on the London Eye:
And then walked around the surrounding area and found a merry-go-round:
The next morning we ate Breakfast in our AirBNB:
Before walking through Hyde Park:
To Kensington Palace to watch the changing of the guard:
We then fought the crowds and walked to another English Pub for lunch. After, we went back to our AirBNB for a short rest. Nicola made reservations at a great restaurant for the evening and then we walked around the city a bit more, rode on a double decker bus and finally made our way back to bed.
On Sunday, we made our way to China Town and then walked around the Theatre District. We flew home thinking we wanted to return. The best part? The family time of course!
